Since our first assignment over 15 years ago, Abcare's Interpreter Service has provided interpreters to business, government agencies and healthcare providers in the metropolitan Detroit area. Our interpreters come to us with a wide variety of backgrounds. Some are professionally trained language interpreters and sign language instructors, while others have strong foreign-language speaking backgrounds.
Our mission is to provide help to individuals with language barriers that inhibit their ability communicate effectively.Our Interpreter services are available:

To verify that our interpreter staff meet the highest standards of professional behavior, we conduct both professional reference reviews and criminal background security checks.
Among the types of assignments the Abcare Interpreters perform:

- Accompany healthcare professionals during their clinical home visits, such as nurses and dieticians
- Translate during legal proceedings in courts of law
- Complete written translations of government documents including legislation
