Abcare's clinical staff have proven themselves before they even step foot into your home. Our rigorous application and orientation process screens for the highest quality and most experienced staff. We require:
- High scores on application tests
- Successful referral interviews
- Proven experience in nursing care
- Ability to perform safety skills, demonstrated to our nursing supervisors
- Documented personal health and wellness
- Michigan State Police security screened

Your caregiver will bring into your home years of experience helping patients like yourself recover and maintain health.

Our Caregivers offer the personal touch
An individual caregiver is a special service. We will seek to suggest the near-perfect match for your care needs and personality. She will ask you about your favorite foods, when you like to bath and what activities please you the most.
As we adjust to your schedule we will seek to make you the most comfortable as possible while being safe and receiving the highest quality of nursing care in your own home.
Our Caregivers offer affordable care
Our Director of Nursing will discuss your financial responsiblity for our care, if any. We will seek to provide the maximum amount of care at the most cost effective way. We will work with your insurance agency or other provider to find the most access to care when you need it most.
Our Caregivers offer care and concern
At all times, our caregivers are made aware of your individualized nursing care, the exact aspects of care that our Director of Nursing have established for you. In addition, our nursing staff are instructed to observe your levels of improvements, looking for signs of changes.
We are always making suggestions to improve your home safety and comfort.
Our nursing staff is required to complete a nursing note for each and every time care is provided to you. These written documents are reviewed by our Director of Nursing, looking for any changes in your condition or areas of concern. You or your family members may be contacted to discuss these suggestions.
In addition, our Director of Nursing will be making home visits to observe you and the quality of care provided by our nursing staff.
With all the years we have experience in home care nursing we have never cared for two of the same patients. Everyone is different, everyone is special. And that is also true of our dedicated nursing staff. Our recruitment and retention program is personalized for each staff member.
